Adlisberg farm
Since spring 2024, we have been leasing the Adlisberg farm from the city of Zurich. The farm is to be developed into a demonstration and innovation farm for regenerative mosaic farming .
Today, over 70% of the 40 hectares of the Adlisberg farm are grassland. Approximately 10 hectares are currently used for crop rotation. We plan to increase production to 14 hectares, including a garden and greenhouses.
2025 - A mosaic is created
A first, diverse mosaic was created in the field near the house.
The drainage systems in some fields needed to be repaired.
Thanks to the expansion of the temporary facility, including a commercial kitchen, we were able to hold an autumn festival with over 300 visitors.
2024 - Getting to know the fields
The areas are first divided into strips and transferred to our GPS system.
Green manure is growing on some areas, while on others we are already starting initial trials with potatoes and carrots.
A renovation is planned. Until that begins, we're setting up shop with containers: the office and cooler provide a temporary solution.
