Air, water and soil pollution, the loss of biodiversity and climate change: these are all environmental problems of our time. In order to address them, HofLabor is developing regenerative mosaic farming. Today, food production and nature conservation are often in conflict, which means that environmental goals are systematically missed.
Regenerative mosaic farming aims to resolve this contradiction: We want to enable farmers to build healthy ecosystems that are productive and economically profitable. Our vision is a biodiverse agriculture that offers all living things a place to live. Over the next three years, HofLabor will further develop regenerative mosaic farming so that it can be implemented by other innovative farmers. To do this, we are pooling knowledge, developing multifunctional methods, machines and digital tools. These are currently still lacking in order to be able to produce sustainably. The innovative model of regenerative mosaic farming is intended to make agriculture a socially accepted and implementable part of the climate solution: with greatly reduced emissions, humus buildup as a carbon sink and as a resilient system that can absorb increasing weather extremes.
